HD Radio technology was demonstrated in Nigeria in November 2006 at Broadcast convention Africast06. It was considered a spectacular success as many members of the Government and regulating bodies such as the Honorable of Minister of Information and the Directors of NTA, VON, BON FRCN and NBC (government departments of Radio, TV and the Regulation) were reported to have been extremely impressed.
